As you can see from my resume, I have a broad banking operations background, encompassing a multitude of global and domestic industry-related fundamentals and hot topics.

Along side his "business side" experience is a growing knowledge of the "technical side" of the business using business intelligence tools such Business Objects by SAP

My Greatest Professional Achievement

Process Re-engineering: The old process involved Weekly Reports that were downloaded as a flat file and MS Excel Pivot Tables that needed to be run to extract specific data elements. The Data in the MS EXCEL pivot table had to be converted to a new MS EXCEL spreadsheet with updated page layouts for readability by Senior Management. There were ten or more reports needed weekly and monthly. The data had to be re-downloaded and this process had to be followed for EACH report. With the new process, instead of downloading the flat file and running MS EXCEL pivot tables, the Business Intelligence tool (Business Objects XI) was used to pull in the data elements needed and create the necessary page layouts ONCE. After this was created once, it was made available to the Senior Management across the US, Europe and Asia so they could go in as needed (weekly, monthly, etc.) and merely refresh the data as needed. The same process saved weeks of processing time for another colleague.

My Greatest Personal Achievement

I was able to play numerous roles in the mentoring of High School Students through conducting seminars, chaperoning Trip via BDPA Information Technology Thought Leaders and Father/Son events via Ebony Magazine.

Mike has a generous spirit and is a loyal, positive individual. He's also the "go-to" guy in the office; people continually turn to him for extra help both personally and professionally. His strong work ethic has helped him achieve a number of successes in his career, That's a quality I've always admired. I trust him impeccably because frankly, he's never let me down. My most recent accomplishments include : * The design and implementation of various data tracking tools using applications such as Business Objects XI ( WEBI / DESKI / INFOVIEW) including working with developers on the creation of Business Objects Universes for migration from BO 6xxx to BO XI, MS ACCESS and MS EXCEL, made available for the use of internal and external clientele, * Design of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Customer Analysis using Crystal Reports. * Creating and providing critical training components for the overall upgrade of the financial community in general providing hands on training in the US/Europe and, * Participation in task forces to address and resolve various prickly operational issues, as they surface, eliminating current and potential stumbling blocks while increasing awareness and cohesion amongst task force members. * Developed a Data Quality Methodology based on the utilization of Business Objects Data Insight to meet Enterprise Data Management (EDM) goals.
